75 years of quality, progress and close partnership with Swiss ophthalmology.<\/strong><\/p>\n What began in 1950 with Ernst von Hoff as a regional optical wholesaler has developed into a leading partner for ophthalmologists, practice teams and specialist opticians throughout Switzerland.<\/p>\n Dieter von Hoff took over responsibility in 1956 at the age of 21 and led the company for many decisive decades. The strategic milestone followed in 1990 with the establishment of the ophthalmology division and the general agency for NIDEK<\/strong><\/a>. This was the beginning of the path that has shaped VONHOFF to this day.<\/p>\n In 2012, VONHOFF became part of Knecht & M\u00fcller AG. 2015 saw a clear focus on ophthalmic diagnostics<\/a>, practice equipment<\/a><\/strong> and the studio<\/strong><\/a>. In 2021, the takeover by Nucleoptis International AG opened up new perspectives with international networking and even greater innovative strength.<\/p>\n In 2024 VONHOFF was awarded with the ISO-13485 certificate.<\/strong><\/a> An official certificate for the highest requirements in medical technology.<\/p>\n Since 2022, the ophthalmo-surgery<\/strong><\/a> to the offer. In this way, VONHOFF supports its customers holistically, from diagnostics to practice equipment to the operating theater.<\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n Today, VONHOFF stands for reliability, expertise and personal advice.<\/p>\n We work with premium manufacturers such as NIDEK and bring their leading technologies in diagnostics, atelier and ophthalmic surgery to the Swiss market.<\/strong><\/p>\n We see ourselves not just as a supplier, but as a partner who supports practices in the long term with solutions that make everyday life easier and improve patient care.<\/p>\n A good example is the in-depth collaboration with VSY Biotechnology<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong> Together with other renowned partners such as Oculus<\/a>, BVI Medical<\/a> and Ophthalmo Pro<\/a>, we are continuously expanding our network.
