Norlase LYNX

The Norlase LYNX is the first compact Pattern Scan Laser Indirect Ophthalmoscope (LIO) fully integrated into an ultra-lightweight headset. The system combines the laser source, scanner , and treatment unit directly within the ultra-light headset and thus enables particularly flexible retinal pattern laser treatments.

In contrast to conventional pattern laser systems used at the slit lamp, LYNX works fully integrated in the headset without an external laser console or fiber optic connections.

The integrated pattern scanning technology supports various laser patterns such as grids, triple arcs and circles. This allows retinal laser treatments to be performed efficiently and in a structured manner.

It is operated via a wireless user interface with multilingual voice control. The ultra-light design is based on the wearing comfort of classic indirect ophthalmoscopes and was developed for comfortable use in everyday clinical practice. simplyCLEAR safety filters support optimized visualization during laser treatment.

For stationary pattern laser treatments at the slit lamp, Norlase offers the ECHO as another compact pattern scan laser solution.
